Both Psychologists and psychiatrists are important for better treatment of a patient but there is a great difference between the concept of both specialists. They both belong to different fields.

It wouldn’t be incorrect if we say that the people of United States suffer from severe depression because the stats speak for themselves. With the credit crunch that had hit the U.S. economy, most people went into depression because of the financial losses they had to bear, that created an immense negative impact on quality of life.

Alzheimer’s is the commonest type of dementia. This disease gets severe with its developing time and it is a progressive disease that keeps growing. This disease can’t be cured but can be slower down. It is also a terminal disease that causes death of the patient and can’t be cured at all.

Amnesia is the state or condition in which people lose their ability to remember things or in simpler words they fail to memorize data. They also fail to recall their memory. In short, amnesia is the loss of memory. The causes of the onset of Amnesia may be functional or organic.
