Screening for breast cancer means further testing to examine the occurrence of cancer. Screening is done to detect the presence of cancer or tumor earlier. That’s because early detection lead to better outcomes. For the breast cancer screening, a number of tests are used such as clinical and self breast exam, genetic screening, ultrasound, mammography, and magnetic resonance imaging.
